This piece addresses the complexity of growth in systems. A simple set of rules produces complex results if iterated long enough. I began with an equilateral pyramid to ground the system in a rigid geometric grid of ideal mathematical space. I used the manipulation and deconstruct of this stiff framework to explore the transition between the realm of perfect mathematical space, and the imperfect space we inhabit. The installation exists as a point selected from an indefinite progression. My hope is that it can function as a resolved piece, and as a collection of sketches for future works.
