This work explores the space we inhabit and do not inhabit. It looks at the domestic environment through the lens of motions and time. I started by creating a form I thought might exist in unused domestic space, and then investigated it through video analysis. By plotting my motions the form was reduced and allowed to build up again within a new boundary. The form looks at a ritualistic act of domestic space; taking a moment to relax with a cup of coffee before starting the day has becomes both a luxury and a necessity.
